Marching bands, floats and military units parade through the streets for the National Independence Day Parade. You can catch a glimpse of the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights with a trip to the National Archives or check out what’s happening at the White House on the Fourth of July. A patriotic concert featuring the National Symphony Orchestra and celebrity performers takes place over the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol Building.
