Summer Camp Fun!

The Oregon Zoo offers many camps throughout the summer.

From OMSI’s outdoor camps to a week of art at MetroArts Kids Camp, it’s time to sign up your kids for summer fun! With so many great camp choices in the Portland metro area, it’s easy to find one that appeals to your child’s interests. Take a look below at some of the most popular camps and check out the Metro Parent 2016 Summer Camp Guide to narrow down the choices by age or topic. Also, be sure to check out the NW Kids Summer Camp Expo on April 2nd at OMSI from 10am-5pm!

Your zoo connects kids to wildlife. Campers explore little-known areas of the zoo, learn about animals by meeting them face-to-face, and leave inspired to care for the natural world. Enrich your kids with a day camp like no other! Special overnight camps for older kids, and some ages offer add-on “2nd week” days.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry offers indoor and outdoor camps focusing on math, earth and space science, life science, physical science, technology, and skill building.

This summer, have your child experience the arts by enrolling in Portland Metro Arts’ summer camps! Camps are one of the best opportunities for children to explore their creativity and artistic passion in ways that school year schedules may not allow. Our camps are exciting, educational, engaging, and FUN!

Northwest Children’s Theater provides award-winning theater camps for ages 3-18. Explore the stage with our First Stage camps, embark on an epic adventure in our explore camps, or don full costume and make-up in our playlab camps. Full and half day camps available!

Catlin Gabel Summer Camps offer a wide variety of integrated day camps and programs in arts, music, technology, robotics, writing, sports, outdoor adventures, and more! All camps are taught by accomplished and dedicated teachers on our beautiful 67-acre campus in Southwest Portland.

Summer at YMCA Camp Collins is more than horseback riding and swimming, silly songs and making s’mores. It is a place where campers come together to discover a place that will challenge, support, and show them that by being themselves, they are being the best version of them there is.
